Andreas
Scholl to launch his own label?
Andreas Scholl will
return to live in his native village of
Kiedrich, in Germany's Rhineland, in October 2007. He is leaving Basel after
almost 20 years as student and teacher at the Schola Cantorum
Basiliensis, although he will continue to teach there for a few weeks
every year.
Andreas Scholl is
building a state of the art recording studio in
Kiedrich and his long term plans include the launch of his own label.
Maybe this means we
can hope for a recording of the Rosano Stabat
Mater sooner rather than later? Whisper -
it's getting closer...
